Q. How can I help the community?
A. Our goal is to use the Association to build a Community. Community building requires active participation and involvement; lend your talent where it will be most useful. Volunteer to serve on a Committee or nominate yourself or a neighbor for the Board of Trustees. To participate on a Committee, contact the Committee Chairperson.
Q. Are Board and Committee Members paid for their services?
A. No. Because all Board and Committee Members are volunteers, we need the support of every Resident to preserve and protect the amenities of this beautiful and unique development. We sincerely thank you for supporting their efforts within the Signature community.
Q. How can I get a listing of all property owners within my HOA?
A. Resident Rosters are not available at this time. You can find neighbors names with their address via the Cuyahoga County Auditor website under “Property Information”.
Q. What can I do to be a good neighbor and better resident?
A. Always remember you are a part of the community family at Signature. Be respectful of others' time and property with regard to children, pets, noise, litter, driving speed and the condition of your property. Remember, no one likes to live with an inconsiderate neighbor.
Q. What are the rules regarding pets?
A. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, and always being sure to have their pet on a leash when taken outdoors per the Declaration of Covenants.
Q. Are “Garage Sales” permitted?
A. The annual Signature of Solon Garage Sale will be held on May 19, 2007. A permit from the City of Solon is also required and can be obtained by calling 440-248-1155.
Q. I am selling my home, can I put a signs out?
A. Open House signs may be placed at the entrance, on the day of the open house, and must be removed by evening. Please do not use signs on any other common property.
Q. What does my Realtor® or a prospective homeowner need to know?
A. A Social Membership at Signature of Solon Country Club is a requirement of ownership of a lot or home in Signature of Solon (Signature One and Two) per the Master Declaration of Covenants. Please contact the Club Membership Director at 440-498-8888 for details.
Q. I am endorsing a political candidate; can I put a sign in my yard?
A. Yes, political signs are acceptable.
Q. How do I get my mailbox replaced if it is damaged?
A. Many times the mailbox can be fixed; please call E S Signs at 330-405-4799 for repairs and replacements. The Covenants require mailboxes be like all others in the neighborhood.
Q: Whom do we call if a streetlight is burned out?
A: First Energy/CEI is responsible for replacing street light bulbs; please call 800-225-0444 with the nearest house address. It is not their first priority so if you do not see that it has been done within a few weeks; please give them a second call. Q. How do I dispose of large appliances or furniture?
A. Please called Allied Waste at 216-441-6300 to schedule a special pick-up. If items are in good condition, please contact a charitable organization to pick up your donation as a tax-deductible item.
Furniture, clothing, electronics and household items:
